Since 2022, we have been producing our bags in collaboration with a family-run artisanal atelier near Florence — a region famous for its centuries-old tradition in leather craftsmanship.
Over time, we have built a close relationship with the artisans who passionately bring every KRAMUCCI bag to life.
Every detail is the result of their precision and dedication to authentic Italian craftsmanship.
We believe in proximity — most of our materials, from the leather to the metal hardware, come from local suppliers in the exact same area.
This allows us to reduce unnecessary transport and maintain full control over the quality and ethics of production.
Each KRAMUCCI bag is crafted with care to last over time and carry with it the heritage of Italian excellence.
LEATHER
At KRAMUCCI, we exclusively use natural leather sourced as a by-product of the food industry.
We believe that since a material already exists, using it responsibly and durably is the most sustainable choice. Our leather comes from selected suppliers in the Veneto region — the exact same leather used by the most prestigious Italian fashion houses.
Thanks to long-standing relationships with the tanneries, we are fully assured of the raw material's quality and the adherence to ethical conditions throughout its processing. We do not work with exotic skins, nor do we use synthetic materials that imitate them.
Instead, we prioritize longevity, the natural beauty of the material, and waste reduction.
Our products are designed to last over time — because the longer an item lasts, the smaller its impact on the environment.
